So I have a script that is to change the configuration of a bunch of switches. The polling engine now runs the script, but I am getting connection refused by six of the switches in the list of 30. The error is just connection refused. I thought that maybe the service account was not working so I log in to the polling engine and start putty from there. I can ssh into the switch from the poller using the service account and password, so I don't think it is an ACL on the switch or a firewall, which there is not one between the poller and these switches. The script is working on 24 other switches in the same environment, so of which are on the same VLAN as the six that are refusing the connection.
Anyone got any ideas of where else to look for the problem?
