Tracking folder growth on Netapp

I am sure this has been talked about, but I can not seem to find it.

I have several Netapp filers serving up CIFS shares what I am looking for is a way to show a history so I can see what folder is growing, I am hoping that Solarwinds has something like this.

I have another tool that I want to get rid of that does something like this

Every night it runs a discovery job against the shares and records the size of the folders 4 layers deep.

If I notice that the space is getting low on the Netapp I can run a discovery and compare the differences between 2 discoveries that I select.
