We create a schedule job in windows and call the solarwinds tool to backup all device configuration daily, but recently i find the frequency change to 3 days/time. we login the solarwinds server and find from log history that the schedule job won't stop until reach to the timeout time which default setting is 3 days. In additional, after the config backup finished, solarwinds will send the configuration comparison email, now we not receive from the issue occur.
i have checked the setting of job and find nothing. Now i have to change the timeout to 4 hours for daily backup, but the root cause is still unknown and comparison email is still not receive.
please help to analyse.
solarwinds version: NCM 7.1.1
