Adding Device IOS to Compliance reports

Outside of copy/pasting the device IOS from a report to a compliance report, does anyone know if there is a way to include it in the original compliance report?  Checking for the latest IOS shoud be part of compliance and I assume can be done with some regex magic, but without the existing version documented, that part of the report is almost meaningless. Besides auditors are always looking for that
