"and get put put back"? Not quite sure what that means... Are you asking if you can get output back? Yes, although what output you get does seem to vary a bit.
You can do CLI commands a few different ways, all of them via some sort of scripting. You don't get an interactive session if that's what you're asking.
One way to execute commands, and probably the easiest is via "Configuration Management". Here you can select a number of nodes, click on "Execute Script" and either load up an existing script or type in your own. When they're done running you can see the output via the "show script results" in "Transfer Status".
You can also go to a individual nodes "Config" tab and use the "Execute Script" box on that screen, similar to the above.
There are also "Config Change Templates" that are a bit more involved.
And the last one I can think of right now is the "Compliance" engine allows you to run remediation scripts on those nodes that need to fix compliance problems.
