Hi Glink,
Thank you for providing your script! It was great and really fun to learn from and work with.
Since posting this and reading through your and Craig's feedback we've done some further testing and I'm not sure if the quirk I was querying is actually relating to your script - I've tried deploying some switch config to various machines just using the job engine in Solarwinds and I've come up against the same symptom.
The switches I've pushed this job to now allow SSH connection, but none display the line "Transport input SSH Telnet" for some reason - so I'm getting the same symptom from applying the config via Solarwinds using a different method from your script - as such I don't think there are any bugs with your script.
I've been trying to read around on this quirk and haven't really found anyone else that's experienced this same thing - certainly if I add the config manually it's evident on a "show run | i transport" - but if I push the config to many devices, I don't see the config but the config works. As if by magic!
Thanks again for the script though, and for responding with the offer to help troubleshoot things
Cheers,
Ed
