We've just installed a remote poller and I'm a bit unclear of its functionality with relation to NCM. We have NPM working fine but are working towards getting NCM setup now so that the remote poller will download configurations using the remote poller ip. The Admin guide is extremely vague on this so I'm somewhat lost.
1) We've only installed NPM on the remote poller thus far. Do I also need to install NCM on this remote poller?
2) Can you assign nodes to specific remote pollers for configuration backup? If so where do you do this?
3) Or do we have to run 2 instances of NCM to support this?
