We are currently testing NCM with our current Solarwinds bundle of NPM and NTA. As I was adding nodes I noticed I got 4 alerts about 4 separate Nexus 3548s. Each one had a Power Supply 1 critical error. These are our 10G server switches so that was a bit alarming especially since I should have seen those errors from our Syslog server. After accessing each switch sure enough they were reporting PS 1 had failed or was down. I pulled the logs from these devices and it shows no syslog message indicating a PS failure. I reseated the power supplies on the two switches at one of the sites and they came back up and were fine. I even got syslog/Solarwinds events related to the PS's coming back online. I could understand a reporting failure, but it appeared that the power supplies had actually failed (blinking green light on the power supply) before I had reseated them. Curious to see if anyone has experienced something similar or knows of any issues between NCM and Nexus devices. I looked through Cisco's bug database and could not find anything close to the problem I came across. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
