policy falsified means your login in connector is broken. the userID warning means you're not using the address cisco is using, and generally cisco will provide this to you. For policy falsified make sure after you test connector's connectivity to your NCM install you go back and then enter the login information. Why? I don't know, this part is stupid; but once that is done you can then go and search without getting policy falsified.
Whoever set up the NCM connector could use doing some serious UX improvements. Cisco however, seems pretty willing to work with people to help them out.
