Newb needs assistance building a Cisco router template

I'm brand new to Configuration Manager and I've been tasked with creating a template for some router upgrades we have coming up this year. We plan on upgrading about 50 Cisco 2821 routers to 2911's. We plan on copying the existing config over to the new routers and then shipping them out to the local folks to swap out. These folks are not technical so everything will just need to work. Here is how I see it.

> We use Configuration Manger to do a backup of the existing router.

> We modify the backup to fit into the new router. Which involves:

     > Dealing with the difference in interfaces (2811 had some f/0 ports)

     > Remove the certificate stuff (We have DMVPN and SSH)

     > Remove TACACS (in case we run into problems we can get w/o dealing with TACACS failing over issues)

     > Create a fresh SSH certificate

> Upload the new config to the router

> Ship onsite.

I need to make this as easy as possible as their will be less technical folks doing the actual work. I figure if I can use Configuration Manager to do all the heavy lifting we'll be all set. Is what I want to do possible? If so, what's the best way to go at this?

Thanks in advance for the help!
