I am trying to run an automated script from NCM on a checkpoint firewall that will download its back up .tgz file and send it up to my server via SCP. It seems to me that the Solarwinds SCP/SFTP server only supports username and password for authentication and not key sharing. I went to the configuration options on the SCP/SFTP server and it seems when creating a new user all I have the option to do is create username and password. Doesn't seem to support key sharing.
Anybody come across this problem? Anybody backed up a .tgz file from a checkpoint device in a secure way? My box is not running Gaia which would allow me to send a username and password for authentication on the SW SCP/SFTP server. TIA!
