Have not been able to locate a solution to a scheduled job running continuously.
I recently updated a scheduled job that downloads all device configurations (running and startup) nightly. The job previously stopped running because the user account associated with the scheduled task had changed it's password. I assigned a new user to the task assigned as a local administrator on the NCM machine.
The job ran fine the first night, with a completion record emailed as configured. However, on the next night (and subsequent nights) I have not received the completion email. The job shows as "running" in the NCM Scheduled Jobs section the next morning, and the log only indicates that it started and has 30 devices configured for download. Viewing devices in the Node List, it appears that all downloads have completed as all of the devices I checked have up-to-date running and startup configurations listed underneath. However the job does not appear to "close out" - it does not complete and does not send the job completion summary email.
Appreciate any tips in where to look for additional clues. As the job does not update its log, I cannot tell what it is trying to do or getting "hung" on. I confirmed (via netstat, temporally spaced) that NCM is not creating new SSH sessions to devices. The task "ConfigMgmtJob.exe" is the only job listed in Task Manager under the scheduled job's username, and is running up to 12% CPU and just under 50MB of memory. Orion NCM v6.0
