Looking for some advice on how to handle a non standard login... I have a few Nortel 470 switches in my environment. Some I can retrieve the config file from and some I can't. After looking into this further I believe the problem is with the login sequence.
The switches that I can retrieve the config file from have a login sequence as follows...
- Telnet to swtch -> Enter User ID press {Enter} Enter Password ......
The switches that I can't retrieve the config from have this login sequence.....
- Telnet to switch->Enter User ID Press {Enter} Then Press {TAB} Then Enter Password and {Enter}
If the TAB key is not pressed after entering the User ID the password will be entered in the User ID field.. I have a picture of the login screen pasted below. Once you enter the User ID..... Then enter key needs to be pressed to set it.... Then the {TAB} key needs to be pressed to move from the User ID field to the password field. Any advice on how to handle the {TAB} key would be greatly appreciated...
