I am in the process of creating some Policies in NCM. One of the policies checks for NTP servers in our Cisco devices. I would like to create one policy/rule that accommodates all devices along with remediation scripts as necessary. The problem I have run into with this is Cisco ASA and Cisco Router IOS use different command syntax for configuring NTP servers. The rules work fine as I have created the regex (?:s)?ntp server 1.1.1.1 to find both ntp server <ip address> and sntp server <ip address> which covers both syntactical possibilities. Now the hard part.... I would like to create a remediation script to apply the correct command syntax based on the device. Is this possible with NCM?
