Some ideas come to mind--maybe you'll look into them and find something, maybe not. . .
I'm open to the idea that this might be a "feature" of your version of NCM--which version are you using? I'm testing it on Platforms 2014.2.1 with NCM 7.3.2, and 2015.1.2 with NCM 7.4. Both of them put all the data for long lines on a single line without carriage returns.
1. Does it make any difference if you go into the Edit on that page's view and set the left column width to a significantly larger number--if it's at 450, set it to 800. Does that do anything good for you?
2. The Cisco IOS software assumes you have a terminal screen that is 80 columns wide. If you have a different screen-width, use the terminal width EXEC command to set the width of your terminal. You might find it necessary to go into the template for your device(s) within NCM and add that command into them, save the template, possibly restart the service, then test.
3. There was a bug that put extra lines & spaces in NCM configs when copied into Notepad. It was fixed in 7.4. See graphic:
If these don't do it for you, it may be time to open a Support ticket with SolarWinds.
Good luck!
