I don't have a problem with the usual device comparison side-by-side view, it's just that I remember some versions back there being another window alongside with a kind-of "miniature" version of the whole config file. This showed roughly where the add/delete/change lines were in the file, making it easier to nagivate. Some of our full config files are 10k plus lines long, which means scrolling until the highlighted lines fly past.
I'm guessing if it's no longer there, then there was some problem with it so it was removed ?
