Thanks.  So I found out a few things…I updated my default SMTP server to a new server(that I know my questionable polling engine can communicate with).  I did that by going to NCM Settings--->SMTP Server.

I then went to my job(In 7.2.2 the job engine is integrated into the console) and noticed the job was still pointing to use the other SMTP server.  I updated that and also checked off the box to “Save results to file” and verified the path exists.

I’ll let you know how I make out tomorrow morning.  Thanks for the pointers.
