rschroeder Well, I cannot tell you with 100% accuracy, however, that is the only place I think they are... Perhaps cnorborg or cvachovecj can provide a better answer...

It looks like there might be some sort of backup file for each device template, or commands for each, located in:  \Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\NCM\DeviceTypes   -Will

I believe you are correct that they are in the database, those backup files are quite old on my box, so not positive they are being used anymore.  Might just be there as an artifact of an older...

That's correct. The device templates have been moved to the database -- that folder would only be an artifact. Jiri

This will also happen if you built the rules/policies and forgot to assign them to the report.   Even though you select the devices to do it on in "Policies", you have to assign that policy to a report...

Also, make sure you go to Config tab > Compliance > "Manage Reports" and click "Update All" button.

Yes, it is positionally dependent as to when it catches the offending lines.   I don't think it's strictly the last one on the list, although its definitely easier for it to catch them at the end....
