SSH can used cached credentials, where it will not prompt you for username/password during the login process. I don't believe I've ever seen NCM use that, but I wasn't really looking for it either....

By default this is the behavior for NCM, to only save configs with changes. Maybe you should look at RTCD? (Real-time Change Detection)

cannot login to NCM 7.4 web console with firefox or chrome but IE is working.
when I go to https://mysite/ (ncm web console) with firefox or chrome, it already showed The session timed out. but when I tried to enter my login, it just blinked and showed the same message.

Thanks for all your answers. We have fixed the problem. As soon as we changed the "users:" in the banner to say personnel, it fixed it. So I guess that was starting to login early or something.
