Thanks Mitch. I figured it out. There was spaces in the script that injected extra data into the password. Once I removed those, they worked fine.

yes, we use a proxy, I entered it on the server itself in the internet explorer settings, but I assume there is somewhere within NCM to enter this info, but I cannot find it.
